i don't understand why everyone loves carly smithson?

So who DO U like on American Idol this season then? Young David? He's way too shy 2 b the next American Idol!!

That's ridiculous. She has amazing vocal range. She may not be the best performer but she is definitely the best female! & she is more versatile than David Archuleta, even if his voice is more "memorable". The only person I favor over her is David Cook.

'Fake' or 'annoying'? So, if you're going to assume things like this, isn't it just so much more fitting to assume these things of Brooke White & David Archuleta? I'm not saying they are, but they are much more likely candidates to be so, instead of Carly. Kristy is just plain mean, or so I've heard.

i have to say that out of all the females on the show, she is the best one.

I know she's not going to win this season because a guy is going to (probably one of the davids) but her voice is awesome. i love her!!!. loved michael johns too but he's gone (totally unfair)
