No, the Communist State runs the corporations supposedly in co-operation which is generally less efficient than competition.

They will be bailing out banks for as long as they think they can save their bacon. Too late now, they allowed banks to lend insane amounts of money to people who were never going to pay it back, under regulation killed the goose that was laying the golden eggs.

This president has been a simple spokesman for the CIA that runs the US on behalf of themselves and the mega wealthy. Too bad they didn't understand finance and allowed the greediest to wreck the system. Alternatively they may have allowed it to happen intentionally as w. 9/11 to create the necessary conditions for taking over the Middle East as a way out of the second great Depression that they have created.

Time will tell, 10 years tops.
