How do I determine n for : 3Sn4+ +2Cr ---> 3Sn2+ +2Cr3+

    n is the number of electrons transferred per mole of reaction; if you wrote out the half reactions and balanced them, without cancelling the equal numbers of electrons on either side, that would give you n. in this case it's 6.

    You know that delta Go = - R T ln K. So when delta G is negative, K will be big and when delta G is positive K will be small.
