college question?

i'm graduating form high school and looking forword to attend a comunity college and later transfet to a university to major in computer science. on my comunity college application, it's required to declare the anticipeted major. so i was thinking get my genral cridits done while taking classes relative to computer science. it that possible. any other suggestions please.

    Yes, a lot of people actually decide to attend a community college first in order to get their GE out of the way. That way when they transfer to a university, the only classes they need to focus on are the ones required for their major and electives. It's also easier on you so that you don't spend more than four years at a university and saves you money as well since a community college is generally way cheaper than university.

    Many times they accept undecided, as well as liberal arts. if you are not sure, just email the admissions department ( this will be found under the admissions section of the community college's web site) at the community college you plan to attend, they will be helpful and usually its a simple solution.
