It's his personal decision
That(carrying olympic flame) has nothing to do with the country
It is a matter of pride, but not national pride
Nowadays, sponsors invite 'stars' who endorse their products to carry the torch

Sachin is a great man and is well respected by the Indians.
He indeed did a right thing. Its probably his personal choice.
But he is not doing any wrong to his nationality. He is a true Indian and has contributed to the nation a lot. I consider this contribution even more than national leaders !!!!!

For whatever reason, it was his choice & he made it. Personally I'm glad he did because of the problems china has with Tibet. I wouldn't do it either.

sachin did nothing wrong because he opted out due to his groin injury and not because of any political reasons
