Are images viewed online saved onto the hard disk, or stored in a compact file?

Are images you view online say you didn't save them but just opened them, are those still saved onto the hard drive or is it a different method?

Unless I save the image it wont be saved onto the hard disk?

If that makes sense.

Yes it would be saved in your temp folder but if you do a disc clean up this will be cleared. Everything you view online goes to your temp folder which is in C drive windows temp..

Viewing them on line does not save them to your disk. You need to tell the machine if you want to save them

no it dosent get saved untill u actually right click on in & select save image as...

so if u havnt done tat thn i dnt think in normal condition it can be saved on to the hard disk.

bt im nt sure of an virus infected picture which cn itself attach to the hard disk.

in case of spy software or recovery softwares specifically used to track online movement this may not be true.
