I am from Baltimore and I used to get autographs from the game when I was a kid. Usually I would go before the game started (about an hour or two ahead) and hang out near the dougouts. When the players go into the dugouts they usually sign autographs.

I was wondering the same thing because I'm going to Baltimore today to see them play. I just found this blog (link below) by an expert autograph collector that details exactly what it's like trying to get autographs during a Yankee game at Camden Yards. According to the Orioles website, the park opens 2 hours and 15 mins before game time. The blog writer says that the lines are extremely long to get in. Once you enter, he says that if you don't have season tickets, they make you wait around in right and centerfield for 30 mins before letting you anywhere near the dugouts, where it is very crowded. Anyway, the guy managed to get A-Rod's autograph near the front of shallow left field.
LOL, I'm not sure I even wanna try anymore... it sounds a lot more difficult than I expected.

one time at shea i waited after a game to get autographs and it was just some random tunnel outside that leads outside. this was a couple years ago but i got autographs from mike cameron and braden looper. the guard said that the best time would be before the game when all the players arive to the park. he said if you get a sign that says like "arod is my favorite player" or something like that he will probably come up to you and sign some things.

hang around the dugouts before the game to get arod and jeter.
hang around the bullpen for Rivera- they'll usually sign even during a game (unless of course someone's warming up)
