How are SO2 and CO2 the same? How are SO3 and CO2 Different?

I need 2 reasons why those two are the same, and one how the other pair is different.

    Both SO2 and CO2 are: (1) gases, (2) acidic oxides. While SO3 dissolves into water to form strong acid, but CO2 dissolves into water to form weak acid.
