Should I start answering Yahoo! questions with "who cares?"?

Everyone gets excited when an "Official" profile asks a question. And it happens to not be *any* Official -- it's the person who is supposedly THE Yahoo! Answers guy! (Or gal whatever lol) They get so many answers because they're also featured on the front page of Y!A -- everytime someone logs into Y!A, they're automatically taken to the front page and if they're paying attention to that cream colored box, the Yamster's question pops up. It gets more attention being on the front page, more people are able to view it, so more people are willing to answer it. You're right -- if the average Joe were to ask this question, it would have died an hour (at the most) after having been posted. But being on the front page, being an "Official" profile, having so many stars (thus Contacts of people who starred it are also shown the question)... all adds up to hundreds of answers and hundreds of stars! Is it fair? Eh, not really. But so what, it's only Y!A lol

It probably depends on the type of question that was being asked. Just because a number of people want to be jacka****s doesn't mean you should become them. Eventually through the thousands of people, you'll come across someone looking for serious and elaborate answers. Some people are just predictable, like the number of people who are gonna reply to you saying that very statement.

I haven't been in that section much but just be yourself. It depends on what the question is and I'd have to see it to give you an answer. If it is meant to be snide, then I wouldn't. I try to answer everyone's question that I click on and answer it without being rude as I think this is unnecessary and that everyone's question is important to them,.

Now tell me...was my answer helpful? I don't think it was. There's your answer right there. If you think that "Who cares?" will benefit anyone...go for it. But just so who know...the person who asked the question CARES.

Might as well start with "who cares" but you could be the unlucky one to get deleted

no that'd be kinda mean... they choose that answer cuz they find it funny (a lot of people answer it with who cares for funny or they just dont really care, lol!)

crazy, I was just there too. I was answering on P&S and then some how ended up there ..... but no don't do that here. I like funny answers.
