what do u pay for daycare?
Hi. I'm American but now live in Denmark. I have just started my son in Daycare and was wondering what you pay for daycare in the states now and in what state? It's been years since I've been around daycare there so was wondering what the rate was now.
Here in Denmark we pay 430 dollars a month. The rest is paid by the government!
no i'm not in military...the government pays for all daycare for everyone here and we pay the rest. But i would hope and imagine being in the military would have a daycar perk.
Oh and daycare's here only have up to 4 kids at a in home daycare and after 3 they go to the big daycare which is all ages mixed and they are together for life. they don't separate them and then they go to the same schools and high school.
now remember i am here in denmark with no family....and no one babysits or watches kids for family like in the states...i just am curious what the rate is right now in the states to compare. I'm at home with him by 3 mon- wed...and all day thurs and friday...i have a business here.

My son would not at the moment flow to daycare yet my SIL has to pay $80 an afternoon for daycare for my nephew who's 18 months old. that is outrageous right here. that is fairly not even a extreme end one both. they're even better extreme priced in some aspects.

I am a licensed child care provider in Michigan. I charge $3/hour. If I have 2 children in the same family I give a $1/hour discount so 2 children would be $5/hour. I currently only offer part-time hours so charging by the hour is easiest instead of by the day or by the week.

ouch in Italy as an american (army) we pay like a hundred something a month for pre pre k or whatever they call it. Bascily she will be 3 in july and she goes to the day care thing from 9-2. But they can teach some stuff to the kids their so its not regular day care. But yall get crazy money for COLA if you in the military that is.

I live in Detroit.
When I only had one, I paid my girlfriend $250 a week to watch him 4 days a week. But that was one-on-one care in a loving home that I knew. I provided all food, diapers, wipes.
Now I have two. I pay $265 a week for two kids in an in-home day care, and they provide food and wipes. I only provide diapers.
Oh and I live in a suburb of Detroit.
