This girl wrote a friend a mines a poem...but the problem is I don't understand it. Can you?
You look at her with carressing eyes, yet pressing lies peer back.
Staring.
Baring heavy on your heart- you try so hard to dodge the darts...
You wait for her to come to you.
Walk away or she'll run before you get the chance-
you glance at her with warm content - but shes content; don't tempt her.
She justs wants you to see her; hear her.
But all that passes through your ears, are the muffled voices of her feelings that appeared...you don't understand them.
Hand them back with no regrets.
Hmm..any thoughts of what she means exactly?

its like she's talking in his perspective like he wrote it with the whole "you look at her with caressing eyes.." but she is basically saying she likes him and it seems like he is, like she said, dodging the darts.. or dodging her hints or w.e .. she likes him and wants to get to know him.. well thats what I got

I'm actually a published poet (some obscure anthology but regardless) and I used to write for an annual art magazine.
She wants this boy but wants to take it slow. This boy listening is the first and most important thing she wants--a requisite if you will. She can't turn to a deeper relationship without this first benchmark being satisfied.
