Skipping Senior Prom?
I'm purposely skipping senior prom due to extenuating circumstances. I know I'll come to regret this, but at current theres absolutely nothing I can do about it. Its been lingering on my mind though, because I've always placed alot of importance prom... and to skip it, however silly, seems like I'll be missing an integral part of my life. So please, assuage my anxiety and tell me, does prom really matter? Is it ok if I don't go...? Thanks

OK.. you don't really have to make it a big deal! i'm not going to the prom either...and i'm a senior! it doesn't really bothers me since i'm not americans...in my country, we don't really do it...i know maybe to you it;s a big deal...but it doesn't mean like you're gonna miss a part of your life! duh! if you can't make it...then do whatever you can do....there's college you know....clubs, organizations and stufff!!!
