Intel 82945G Express Chipset update?
I am currently using that driver on my system of course having issues with it stopping. Intel issued an update on April 7 for that driver but I just wanted to know if the update will resolve the issue or is it just a reissue of the same driver with the same error?

Ok I have the same mobo.
You havent stated which driver you are having trouble with.
I had a few problems regarding drivers and stuff, specially for windows vista, so I had to switch back to XP.
But one thing is for sure that whever Intel releases an update it surely solves all the problems and/or errors that might occur later. They dont re-issue the same driver again if they have given the date of 7th April, they surely have tweaked it and your own version of driver that you are using currently is offcourse older than 7th April. Nomatter how recently you have purchased your mobo,I can tell that its drivers and stuff that came with it are older than that of 7th April.
I also found out that some hardware error occured in my mobo and it was hard to tell if it was actually a hardware error, but Thank God I got my mobo replaced and I still use the same Intel 945 mother board and it works fine now :)
Please feel free to ask me anything further you might wanna know. Tc bye.
