Birth Control?

Question

Ok I'm now about to be 36 wks and at my last two doctor visits  my doc asked if i wanted birth control I quickly said yes because I do but after doing research i don't know which way to go when I asked the doc and friends they say oh that doesn't work, I know there has to be one good birth control out there, right now i'm debating on the depo shot and the nuva ring, has anyone tried these birth controls if so did they work.

I'm on depo and I love it.  By the way, depo is 99% effective if that's what your worried about.  As for me I'm mostly in love with the fact that on depo you don't get periods. YAY!!! That means no cramps, moodiness, or anything.  It's wonderful.  I've tried quite a few a birth controls and this has been my favorite.  I mean it's nice to know I have a very slim chance of getting pregnant, but it's even better not having all the girl stuff.

yeah, I tried the ring twice and both times I thought it was great until the side effects startted to set in. I got really horrible hot flashes like seriously it was like I was going through menopuse or somehting. I cried all the time and was moody and it was ridiculous. So, I got off that and was also thinking about the copper IUD. We'll see. God Bless

im on the ring right now and i have gained 12 pounds in the last 2 months i have been really moody and cry all the time other then that its pretty convenient but im going to get a copper iud put in. no hormones so i wont have the weight gain and other hormonal symptoms

PLEASE do not get the depo shot, it treats a majority of women horribly.

I was on it for several years and I had HORRIBLE MOOD SWINGS, weight gain, loss of libido, etc!!!
