getting fit and healthy!?
ok i don't have much money but recently was in a minor car crash and my doctor told me some stretches to do to help me get better. He also said getting lots of excercise will help me to get better. I've taken this as an omen to get fit and healthy as although i'm not overweight i am not very healthy.
i eat good meals and drink plenty of water but i very rarely have fruit and im always feeling tired which i think is related to my diet! I also mainly snack on chocolate and biscuits!
i do have an excercise dvd but if anyone has any advise on the best excercise and the best foods to eat i would be most greatful!

Heres what i do:
No soda or carbonated beverages.
Lots of fruit, veggies,
Lots of meat, tofu, lentles, fish, all your protein. Protein is the primary building blocks of all the structure in your body, minus your bones. You need lots of protein for brain development, nerve development, and muscle development.
Cut the fat off all your food, so many people eat the fat on their steaks. Dont, a little is good, but dont do a lot of it.
No Breads! Whole grain has lots of nutrients, but other than that, drop em. No cookies, No rice, No pasta, No potatoes, pretty much all your big carbs. You dont have to go out of your way to avoid these. Just dont eat them as side dishes, and DONT eat them when your cooking for yourself!!
NEVER buy fat free or sugar free foods. These foods have chemicals that have carcinogenic byproducts when you digest them. Aspartame actually digests into formaldehyde in your blood. Thats what they use to stop the dead from rotting, and its highly cancerous.
Chocolate is good. My view is if your going to drop your carbs, why not save for what you like. Dont eat a pound a day, but it makes you feel better, and its a dairy product. Dark chocolate is the best health wise, but i love milk chocolate. Its MUCH healthier than a bag of chips, and much more filling too.

Its good that you drink water and have good meals - a lot of people don't do that.
I know its obvious but just cut down on the snacks, and if you do snack make a conscious effort to choose the healthier snack available.
In terms of exercise nothing beats jogging. Start off doing a few really easy runs a week. Time is not important, its more the regularity. Time will come if you continue to run. People are afraid of running because they have never done it, if you get into a routine you grow to love it. Trust me. Also the hardest part about going for a run is puting you shoes on and getting out the door. Its easy after that.

Cardio is good for working out, which you can do just by dancing! Keep your heart-rate up for at least 30 mins a day. Try to eliminate high fructose corn syrup and all other artificial sugars from your diet. Take it easy on the biscuits and all breads and pastas...they stick to your intestines which could account for your lack of energy! Fruit could help you boost your energy, especially apples and bananas.

Hey Emma,
I use a really good weight training and healthy diet program called truth about abs.
I bought the program from the recommendation at http://www.truthaboutabsblog.com/ for $39
This was the best $39 I have ever spent. He gives you detailed workouts for you to follow, and a great diet plan. Overall this was a great investment in myself.
Sounds like this could be just what you need
Anyway I hope this helps.
Love Samantha
