Star Trek Fans?

What do you think of the rumor that a new Trek series surrounding Section 31 has been suggested as the way to revitalize the series?

    When TNG came out, the die-hards said, if you don't have Kirk (Spock, Scotty, McCoy, et al) you don't have sh*t, but then TNG ran more than three times longer than the original, so I guess we'll have to see, won't we?

    If it don't have Janeway, it don't have s*it.

    EDIT:

    Panama, the difference is, I was not among the folk who said TNG didn't have s*it. One look at Jean-Luc Picard, and I knew it was special.

    However, I *was* among those who thought that Star Trek: Enterprise would be a dissapointment. I'm not shocked that I was right.

    I loved Bakula in Quantum Leap, but I couldn't even watch one whole episode of STE.

    Nothing will top TNG. It was all downhill after that.
