Mouldy Pampered Chef stoneware pan?

I was recently told that one of my stoneware dishes from The Pampered Chef looks mouldy, and that it happened because it wasn't dried before it was put away. Does anyone know how to get rid of the mould? Can I bake it off by putting it in the oven for an hour or so?

Wow! I've never heard of that happening! I have a few questions: How long have you had the stone? Where do you usually store it? How long has it looked like that? I am a Pampered Chef consultant and I will be happy to help you figure out what happened so that we can either fix it or get you a replacement and so that we can prevent it from happening again. E-mail me from my profile and I will be glad to assist you.

you can try the baking soda paste and scrape off what you can with the scraper. I would NOT suggest using a bleach mixture, as the stone may absorb some of that and your food may start getting that flavor.

In the future you might want to just store it in the oven.

    Good luck

I would scrub it with baking soda and then soak it in a mild bleach water solution....I do this with my cutting boards once a week to disinfect them.
