how do you think this guys would have done in the pros?
First of all what do you think about Teofilo Stevenson he's a 3 time gold medalist and he was offered millions by don king to fight for the heavyweight against the greatest Muhammad Ali and steveson was 6"5 and I never saw anybody who could have survive his straight right hand, secondly what's ur opinion about the 6"6 three time gold medalist Felix Savon who was also offered millions to turn pro and fight mike Tyson, and last but not least Guillermo Rigondeaux who at only 24 years has capture 2 gold medals and he has a style like mayweather but he's a southpaw but with power and thanks to the tyranny of his country he is not allowed to box anymore since he got caught in brazil while trying to defect from Cuba like his teammate gamboa

amateur boxing and pro boxing might as well be two different sports. in the amateurs, fights are scored on the amount of punches thrown and landed on or near the front of the headgear and clean on the body, in the pros, fights are scored on the effectiveness and power of the punches thrown and ring generalship, its too hard to tell how savon would of done, he stopped david tua in 1992, and tua went on to become a great pro with a granite chin (never been stopped or dropped in pros), so he could of been great, or maybe tua just sucked that night, its impossible to tell unless they actually fought as pros

Its really hard to say because armature isn't the pros. You see so many guys with 100+ amateur fights and gold medals that turn pro and never amount to nothing its almost like the NBA or NFL draft busts. Look at how many gold medal winners have never become world champion. Audrey Harrison was a heavyweight from England that won a gold medal in 2000 Olympic games and his pro career has been nothing spectacular. David Reid won a gold medal and was fighting for a world title in 7 pro fights and now he isn't even a pro anymore. Mohamad Abdulaev beat Miguel Cotto in the Olympics and won a gold medal and now the guys is 15-3 and hasn't fought since 2005. Great Amateur's don't always make great pros look at the guy that beat Mayweater where the hell is he?
