white tree frog help! ASAP!?
I am needing to contact a breeder or someone knowlegeable in white tree frogs ASAP! Plz be in the US and leave your number and I will call. I am in deep worry about my habitat and frogs well bing and need professional opinions! petstores don't know anything!
well my last two died on the same day @ within 12 hours. I think I didn't keep the tank humid enough. I now have a really good bedding and moss ontop of that. would it be better to buy spring water or fill a milk jug with tap and dechlorinate it that way? That may have been the other issue...I am new to this and it just broke my heart to find Ricky and Lucy in the water bowl together lifeless. I was just playing with both of them less than 12hrs b4 that. I am going to do everything in my power to not let that happen again...thank you for your help in the matter

It depends on the pet store, I think. My White's frogs get on fine. I have them in a 20 gallon tank and am using tropical soil as substrate, along with moss. I also have vines, a log hide-out, and a minature tree for climbing and a water dish. Where I live I have to use a light cause it's freezing. I use a light made by exo terra, in a fixture called the arizona hot lamp. It's adjustable which really comes in handy. I just watch the thermometer to make sure the temperature is staying within the range he needs. Same with the humidity. I spray him twice a day, and keep an eye on the hygrometer. Because I live on a well I don't need to worry about water quality, but pet stores do sell special solutions that make water safe for amphibians. Also tree frogs aren't really meant to be played with. Their skin is very sensitive.
