how can i look at a 2007 word doc on my computer?

i used my usb to save something at school from word 2007, and on my computer at home i have the other edition, 2004? i tried downloading the viewer and something that is supposed to change the format or soemthing, but i cant figure it out,, any ideas?

    Install the Office 2007 Compatibility pack.

    Go back to the Word 2007 and then save as..and it will give you the choice to save it as a 97-2003 type word document.

    i think there is a patch on the ms office website to allow you to open 2007 docs

    install 2007 version of office, or before saving the file to your flashdrive, there is an option to save it to older office version for compatibilty
