You can use Diatomaceous Earth. It is a fine powder made up of fossilized single celled sea creatures. It feels like flour to us, but under the microscope it looks like needles. Those needles pierce the exoskeletons of insects and dehydrates them so they die. It is non toxic and environmentally friendly. Just don't breathe the dust. You can use it inside and outside. I put it in a squeeze bottle and run a strip around the perimeter of my house.

FYI: They put diatomaceous earth in flour to prevent flour bugs. We eat it all the time.

I have that problem around our toliet because of moisture. Just find the space they are coming in and sprinkle either cayanne pepper or cinnamon. Dollar store buys work just as well. Than set out a few ant traps.

all the pesticides are doing is pushing them from the room you are spraying to one you arent...what you are more than likely going to have to do is call an exterminator...i went thru this for months...and after so long...i gave up and called orkin...

Try the little ant and roach baits. You can buy them at walmart.

    Source(s): I have used them.
