My girlfriend is coming home right now after a night in jail for DUI, how should I be?

This is crazy, she was hanging out with her friend and I guess got pulled over and I just now got in contact with her.

Any feedback would be great I just don't want to over react or show I don't care, but have any of you gone through this before?

ive gone through it with an ex... you can't show that you don't care. once you do that, you're girlfriend will think it's okay. she'll starting doing it again, and she'll probably think with you not caring that she did it, that you don't care about her. tell her it was wrong. tell her to not do it, and how dangerous that can be. tell her you don't approve of it, and that she needs to straighten up! because if you dont.. next thing you'll know she'll be put in jail for working corners lol. SO TELL HER IT'S WRONG. AND SHOW HER YOU CARE. DON'T BE ALL W/E ABOUT IT. BE A MAN, AND TELL HER.

Try being understanding. A night of incarceration can be traumatizing. But if she comes out angry and blaming you for everything, forget her.
