which is better yugioh or Magic: The Gathering?

Magic: The Gathering; it's not as easy to learn as Yu-Gi-Oh but I have to say the fact that there isn't a t.v show based on it makes it a bit more appealing. Also it's alot more challenging and it uses the base of strategy.

To answer your question about tournaments-yes they do. There's even a store near me that you can come in and battle random people. The game is very fun to watch.

Definetly Magic the Gathering. Yugioh is way too manga-ish to be original and the art isn't all that good. Magic the Gathering has been around for way longer and is still rather popular and has incredible art, storyline and such.

Magic the Gathering. To me YuGiOh is more geared towards kids. But either way, I'd still pick MTG.

Yu-gi-oh By Far, Its way more interesting and there are local tournaments all over the world each week, I go to a tournament every week and it is extremely fun though ive never won but ive been close.

personly i liek yugioh better becauseof the combo plays and otk decks

magic is also good but games last to long

yugioh is popular but they keep introducing stupid rules and people who play it are mostly little kids

and they have a thing for messing up tornaments trust me ive been there

magic is good to man more stable since yugioh will fade in some time (youll see)

magic has been here for a long run and will stay forever game is more complex and more original

and theres no overpricing cardsa just because their pupolar in the show :P

I would go with Magic the Gathering, more players, more options, and more tournament options if you are into that.

I couldnt decide which are better when yu-gi-oh came out so I got some of both! It worked for me!

magic by a long shot and yes there are tounaments all over and they are exciting to collect i have been playing since the first sets came out alpha and beta and i have complete sets of all to date

yu-gi-oh because it is easier to play nad also very fun and yes mtg does have tourneys
