Hello, this is a question that has been asked a thousand times over. I am a bible person and I do believe what it says about this subject. Besides who would know better then The creator of all things. Most people are like that is the dark ages or you have to get to know one another by haveing sex, but trust me if you give it away a guilt will follow and you will feel different. The bible says that you will become one with the one that you have sex with and I believe that the spirt and body or connected in a invisible way. Most people do not know this and they are lead to other reasonings. Think about it, alot of people are becoming one with alot of people. This WILL effect your emotions and your way of life (babies or deseases). Every one says it want happen to me. I haven't see a person that hasn't regrated it. They love their children, but if they could only change some things. Marrage is a serious thing and being a virgin is the best way to tell if someone really loves you. If you give it away then you will feel used. This is why alot of relationships aren't working out. If you love me keep my Commandments The bible says. Love God first, do what he says and everything will fall in place, we cant do what we want to do and want God to bless us. Thanks for hearing me out- Kenny

I know what you mean, kids are more curious today. there are still those willing to save them selves until marrige, I am not yet 18 myself, I have friends who are virgins, I have friends who are not. Majority of those who are no longer virgin have been raised christian, and I think they were trying to prove something.

I have a friend who is getting married this June, she is not a virgin, she lost that two years ago in her sophmore year (of highschool) and she has been with two other guys since, but she is marrying the guy she gave herself to. he is very polite, the perfect gentleman (he opens her car door, pulls out the chair) and she doesn't regret what she did.

Then you have the flip side of it, most of my virgin friends are not religous and they never felt like they had to prove anything, to anyone, they are waiting until they feel it is right.

I personally have mixed opinions on the matter, I think you have to love them, but if that is the case wouldnt you marry them? However what is the legal age to marry? And not all parents aprove, so kids go ahead with it, and somtimes get pressured. I'm not sure where that whole thing went but these are just my experiences.

Times have changed, and frankly, the concept was obsolete from the start.

Think about it; in general terms, if a young man was sexually active before marriage, it's no big deal, even gets a "high-five" now and then.

If a woman does, she's considered "loose".

It's an unfair balance and standard.

Society and all the bad in it. People have no regards. Don't get me wrong I am kinda being a hypocrite cause I didn't wait but I wish I would have. People make it look cool to have sex and do drugs so in young kids minds its okay. Plus have you watched what they put on TV lately?

i dont think there's anything wrong with doing it before marriage. we're not in the middle ages anymore - before contraception it was forbidden mainly because of pregnancy.

as long as it's with the right person, and you are safe, i definitely dont think you have to wait for marriage.

marriage doesnt seem to be such a sacred thing anymore

since divorces are becoming more popular, the pressures on marriage and such is less.
