Madden Curse - Brett Favre?

The curse is gona play out the same. Brett is going to get injured fishing, mowing his lawn, or on the set of wrangler comercial, prylosec commercials.

I Know A lot about the Madden curse but the curse is supposed to take place the next year and will injure them Brett Favre is retired now for the premier of Madden 09

Aaron Rodgers picked apart the 'boys last year and they are the creme of the crop ths year so, YEAH, the Packers definitly have a shot at winning the Super Bowl. The whole dang tean is sound. Ryan Grant will be a top running back now that he's a starter, they have the best group of 5 wide recievers. And the defense is smuthering. I mean, who else will make it to the SB from the NFC, The cowboys? Pacman will be making it rain, and by that I mean the fans will be crying.

I don't think it will effect the Packers b/c he isn't even playing for them. Even if he did come back it wouldn't effect him or the team. Favre always gets hurt during games. So its not the curse.

I'll say it again. They should put Rex Grossman on the cover to really put the curse to the test!, I would love to see how the curse can make Grossman any worse than he already is.

I'm worried about Favre, what if he decides to come back and sucks really bad??? they can't go wrong with Grossman.

The curse will affect the team, the Packers, a key injury to a key player may happen...I don't think the Madden curse is done...its always a regression of the mean(wikipedia)...I don't think the Packers will get to the play-offs, the lay of the land is different each NFL season.

Seems like the so called curse will be broken. I call it a so called curse due to the fact of how many players get injuried during the season and none of them are on the cover. It is a contact sport and there will be injuries.

ha ha, I saw This on the news today. I think it is appropriate. I also saw that the '09 cover would have a 20th anniversary logo.. Will there be 2 covers, or just the Favre one.

Considering he retired, I don't think it will matter...The curse is about somebody who is still playing football, and he's not anymore...I think the Packers will be in the playoffs, but the unknown is just how good Aaron Rodgers can be over a whole season...
