good ideas for an original birthday present?

Do you know what the 14 year old likes to do?

IF the person likes sports -- perhaps something to do with sports (for example -- if they like water sports -- a gift certificate to go kayaking, canoeing, rafting, whatever -- or surf/body boarding, etc)

IF the person likes arts -- put together a gift basket containing art supplies for their favorite arts/crafts projects

IF the person likes music -- perhaps some sheet music, cds, etc (or movie DVDs, things to dance to ... game?)

Just use the KNOWLEDGE you have of the 14 year old's interests and that is your GUIDE to determine what to give them for a Birthday Present!

(Hey, things don't have to be expensive -- they just need to be from the heart).

I'm not sure what he/she likes but for a 14 years old girl, I think a scrapbook will be great or just a very charming birthday party. A fairytale theme birthday party with people that she loves, her friends, family, etc

Do you have time adequate to get some photographs jointly and make an album committed on your father? carry jointly them from acquaintances and kin. i've got executed this many cases, and have been advised that it replaced into the final present ever. does not fee a dime (different than the album itself), and it potential a heck of plenty. and it is frequently remembered long after a neck tie, widget, or whatnot. Says alot approximately you which you think of adequate of him to even pose the question. :)

Put together a basket, and go around thrift stores, drugstores, and dollar stores looking for things that he/she would like--magazines, notebooks, candy...
