Avery Johnson?

I think it's very possible Avery may be gone. Cuban thought this trade would make his team a title contender. Avery was against it from the start. Avery also wanted to trade choke master Dirk at the start of the season when teams were working their free agent roster deals. They could have gotten MAX value for him then.Maybe they could have traded him to Memphis who wanted to to deal for Gasol and would have jumped at Dirk. can you imagine Gasol and Diop as a front-court, with Howard, Harris and Terry as your lineup, not to bad. But Cuban is in love with the man who choked in the finals, and then the next year choked in the first round, and now looks like he's going to do it again. But the worst part of all this is Avery will take the blame for everything not working.

The mavs are killing me ... I wish we had never traded for J Kidd. But Avery will likely be gone this year or next ... such a shame.

The offense is absolutely horrible. Each time in the half court set I wonder how the mavs will score.

(of course it doesnt help that stack and howard couldnt hit the broad side of a barn the whole series)

J Kidd = overpaid and overrated

I hate Johnson's voice; that being said, I think he's gone. Mark Cuban has a lot of tension with him and he's got 2 MVP caliber players in Kidd and Dirk but accomplished nothing.

no. Avery keeping Howard in when he was airballing shots and missing layups is going to get him fired.

i hate Jason Kidd. and that drugie josh howard.
