NBA Playoffs?

Why do the Hornets and Mavs need to play another game if the Hornets lead the series 3-1?

What is the purpose of the extra game(s)?

All the NBA playoffs are best of 7 now. while no team has ever come back from 3-0 to win a 7 game series in the NBA, a few hav come back from 3-1... if the Hornets win another game, they advance, so the Mavs need to win 3 games in a row to stop them and advance in their place.

I don't know, but thats the rule. Personally I think the series should be out of five, or even three. Seven is WAY too much. It seems like play offs last longer than regular season. Though there are always comebacks.

.. Because that's the rule, plus a lot of team has come back 3-1 before. Samething why Suns has to play yesterday game, when their down 0-3, but they won last night.

So that Chris Paul can shine a little bit more and the owners can make more $$$ from the TV royalties...

its actually not an extra game...in a best-of-seven series, you need to win four games...

because they must win four games in a row..

Spurs and Suns need to do the same thing.

its kinda dumb... but w/e those are the rules
