what is this called?
When someone judges someone else without seeing things in their shoes is that called ignorant prejudice? If not what would you call that?

Depends on the circumstance. If a guy rapes his 10-year-old daughter, I AM going to judge him, and I am NOT going to bother trying to "see things in his shoes". I don't call that ignorant prejudice, and I doubt that anyone else would either.

I believe it can be called an assumption, which normally means judging with out proof. (ex. A man sees another man who is perfectly dressed with a wife and kids, and 5 star job. He thinks "that man has a perfect life") however it is only an assumption because for all he knows the man could be a secret ex-convict.
But seeing is different then just looking so i guess you could call it ignorance. Either one :D

Yeah, being judgemental; or close-minded.
