What is the process of having a judge removed from my court hearing, regarding a custody situation?

The judge has a biased opinion and has pretty much said so.

So I need to know what it will take to have my case moved with another judge?

You would request that the judge recuse him/herself based on the prejudice of his bias against you.

This is a tough one, the bias has to be pretty strong, blatant and prejudicial against you.

You need an attorney to watch out for you in this one. Interview several, and find one that thinks he/she has a good relationship with this judge.

The problem here is that in many cases where you ask a judge to recuse, they'll do so, but they will pick what attorney substitutes for them for the matter. Who do you think will brief that attorney on the case? Do you think they might want to be appointed again, and if so, will that influence their decisions?

If you think the judge is already biased, you need an attorney.
