Gordon mad at Dale Jr.?

Yes, Gordon was mad that Junior didn't draft with him at Talladega. Junior felt that the line Gordon was in, was not a good line. And Junior wanted to win, but earlier this week, Gordon and Junior had a sit-down and resolved everything, so they're just fine.

I have heard Jeff get upset with teammates a lot in the restrictor plate tracks. Some phrases that come to mind..."I have no friends here", "I thought we were friends Jimmie". I read where Gordon got upset towards the end of the race because Jr. blocked him from passing. "All deals are off," Gordon told crew chief Steve Letarte on his team radio. "(Earnhardt) just showed me what he's all about." They were racing for good finishes, so not sure why he was so upset. Nobody on the lead lap of a restrictor plate track is just going to let somebody by without blocking, even teammates.

You people are ridiculous!! Dale Jr. has done ABSOLUTELY nothing in his racing career to warrant the type of "status that he receives from his fans. He is an average driver (at best) who fans and NASCAR themselves has convinced that he is some kind of superstar. He should bow down to Jeff Gordon because, on the racetrack, he can't hold his jock strap!! If you people want to make Dale Jr. some sort of pop culture celebrity like Paris Hilton- go ahead!! As far as an actual racecar driver though, his name should never even be mentioned on the same planet as Jeff Gordon!!!

Gordo is upset that over the past few races his fellow Hendricks drivers have not been his back-up, but driving for themselves. He saw last season the Johnson was better than him.....and this year that Jr and Johnson are doing better than him thus far.

He has no reason to be upset at the,..as racing is not a team sport..once the green flag falls....it is every man for himself....as there can be only one winner.

I think being a family guy has take a little out of Gordo...he is still a good driver....but his teammates have surpassed him.....and he is realizing it.

He was upset that Dale Jr. didn't work the draft with him and push him to the front. Probably just frustration on Jeff's part that his car wasn't as strong as the 88.

I don't know why Gordon is mad at Jr. but seriously, he needs to get over himself. There are so many drivers on those tracks FROM DIFFERENT TEAMS that he could be causing problems with, or at the very least, oh i don't know, RACING against. Yet, he spends his time griping about his TEAMMATES! Ok, Mr.I am the greatest gift ever given to the racing community...Grow up and get a life! ***Your time would be much better spent earning points for your team~

Yes Jeff was upset after the race, but was over it as quick as he got upset.....but this is racing, and Jeff's car was not as strong as he thought it would be, it is his pit crew he should be upset with.

race before last, Jeff did not draft for Jr. so maybe it was accident or not.......but I don't really think Jr would do that, he is not that kind of guy.......

gordons mad because he is number 1 and number 3 jr didnt push him to the lead or move over and let jeff lead when he was in second
