Daytime Emmys?

I realize Y&R is the "top rated soap" but the acting nominees did seem a little skewed in its favor. Is it because actors vote for actors and they have the biggest casts? Y&R got eleven nominations for acting; but all the ABC soaps COMBINED only got three (one each for AMC, GH and OLTL)! I like Y&R but face it - they had an off-year. Hell, they lost over 500,000 viewers from last year alone - averaging about 3.6 million per day down from 4.1 million.

Still I keep watching, hoping against hope it will get better. But I am mostly just disappointed.

unfortunately, they can't make all the fans happy because that's not possible. they have to make the best decision they can with the criteria that is set up for that category. just keep the faith. it took susan lucci a long time but she did end up winning once.

I mainly watch ABC soaps and none of the nominees are familiar to me except Brian (Charlie from OLTL). So I'll just tune in to the end to see what soap won. It'll be CBS SOaps on ABC this year.

I know! It is a travesty! A lot of great actors were robbed! I can't believe some of the ones who did get the nod!

I love Drew Carey! He always represents for our hometown, Ohio!

i was thinking the same thing. nothing is really drawing me to watch cuz the nominations are so unfairly distributed. no matter what congratulations will go to cbs...what's the point. i can see all the dresses and red carpet highlights online.

He is flying like a plain, nobody knows why, said terry ,then one day he saw him.I am not going to tell you the rest of is, you have to guess what happened next.

I think they should get a life.
