The Chili Peppers are/were suing the makers of Californication for use of the term.
The makers of the show claim that it was a term used back in the 1970s during a migration from neighbouring states into Califorina. The Chili Peppers claim that they made the term famous and that its use would connect the show and the band even though there is no connection.

I did because I like the angry sex bit! LOLz
Only saw a few episodes the first time round, is the series good? From what I saw it was way too sex oriantated, leaving the storylines lacking.
What you on about with the song? Did they change it or do you mean that you think that song would suit it well?

who cares? whoever copys songs only does it cause they either cant write there own song, or think its ok to copy people.
