if you get alot of points for yahoo what will you get in return?

(1) You can get to a higher level.

(2) You can ask, answer and vote for more questions.

(3) You can feel good about yourself.

(4) You can show off to your friends.

2 or 3 times, Yahoo has had "give-aways" for participants at levels 2 and up, but that's about it. During one particular "give-away" the level 6's got coffee mugs and the level 7's got jackets.

Otherwise, this site is sort of like "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" where "everything's made up and the points don't matter".

Well, not everything is made up... but there's a LOT of subjectivity and false/misleading information here, whether Yahoo likes it or not.

The more points you have, the higher your level. Other than that, you don't win anything besides bragging rights and an ego boost.

A big pat on the back and maybe people will take your answers more serious.

The satisfaction of helping people...assuming that you actually give worthwhile answers.

You'll move up the ladder of levels.

realistically nothing.

basically a good feeling about yourself.

so in other words NOTHING

a warm fuzzy feeling (and the chance to ask & answer more questions).
