What should I get Xbox 360 or PS3?

PS3

Yes the price is high, but if you look at what your getting the system is worth twice what you pay.

TO build the PS3 it would cost you in the range of 1k-1300.

Some of the components are better then my computer.

Blue Ray, HDDVD, PS2, PS1, DVD, surf the net, ect.

Microsoft makes great window programs and computers, but leave the gaming industry to Sony.

Personally, I would get the Xbox360. The 360 has MANY more exclusive games, which the PS3 definitely lacks right now. The 360 also has very similar graphics, if not better, for most of its games. While PS3's online service is free, it has nowhere near the amount of features that XBOX live has, with DLC, and Xbox Arcade, being some of them. The PS3 to me seems like a system that is too expensive for nothing special really, you can get almost any game for the PS3, for the PC, so it doesn't seem like the best bet. I don't have any personal grudges, I don't even own either, I've just played both extensively and have had much better experiences with the 360.

PS3 because even though they don't have many games out now, they will in awhile. And you can play your favorite PS2 games on it too. It does have phenomenal graphics and has free Internet.

The Xbox 360 has a 33% failing rate and the graphics in my opinion are pretty bad. I've only played Gears of War on it though and it is like totally lame. But again, my opinion. Plus, you have to pay for the freaking Internet! I think that sucks out loud!!!!!

It really depends if you want to buy now or later.

Now, the 360. It has the titles to back it up, which ultimatly matters most. Right now the PS3 has maybe 2 that are "coming"...

Later, the PS3, because as with the PS2, all the best games are through the PS when it has been around for awhile.

I personally love my xbox 360 & i believe xbox has more games out then PS3 but PS3 you can also watch blu ray dvds. My friend had the same dilemma - so he got both - and whenever we go over there he's always playing his xbox 360 with a new game.

Xbox 360 is all about live. Most of the games are good because live. If you don't have live its just a Xbox 360 and after you finish your games there's nothing to do. But i'm trying to figure out what i want. But i say if your going to pay for live get playstation 3

You dont want a crap machine witha famous ring of death error. You want a reliable ps3 that never fails. The xbox 360 is notorious for its malfunctions. Just go to youtube and search xbox 360 problems. This year the ps3 is expected to surpass the 360 because of its upcoming exclusive games. PS3 all the way

I would pick PS3 because it has pretty good games considering it is relatively new. As always, like any new gaming system on the the market, the PS3 will get good games. And its got many great extra features too! I would definitely go with the PS3.

Yeah, uh.. the ps3 has all those (or will have) Except Halo 3.

Besides, The ps3 has MGS4, Uncharted: Drakes fortune, and Resistance. You call that nothing? I bought my ps3 for Resistance.

ps3... pretty much every game comes out on both systems. with the except of like soul calibur where xbox is gonna get the character yoda and ps3 will get darth vader...but with ps3 you can go online for free and download yoda probably for a small price. by the way if you get ps3 you have to buy warhawk!! very good game!
