Should I get off Birth control?
I am on loestrin birth control and never missed a pill, but lately I have been getting this tightening feeling, and some cramps along (on and off for 2 weeks) with breast tenderness. I did not get a full period during the time I was suppose I just had some spotting. I'm wonder if this is a bad side effect from the pill? Should I stop the pill? Is this even normal.......

Everyone gets a little spotting at some stage, some pills mimic pregnancy, though I'm not familiar with your brand so I can't comment specifically. If that is the case breast tenderness could just be due to that. If you are worried speak to your doctor. It's always a good idea to review contraceptives every now and again just to make sure it's going ok.

Call your OBGYN in the morning and ask if you need to make an appointment of if she/he can give you recommendations over the phone. Per the pills, it states do NOT stop taking them without a physician's supervision. (Yes, I know some people stop in order to get pregnant and that is fine if you are perfectly healthy... but these are symptoms and must be treated knowing the full medical history).
This may be nothing and sounds perfectly normal, but I would call the office.

if you just started taking the pill these symptoms are normal. if you have taken the pill for a while stop, you may be pregnant! take a test or see your doctor. Being on the pill doesn't prevent you form getting pregnant 100%. I sugest you take a test.

Sounds like you need to talk to your doctor about trying another birth controll method. Maybe you just need to take a break from the pill.

well lets see here...you could be pregnate and it could be a side effect. but i would say go to the doctor. they will prolly have u take a pregnancy test so if your not pregnate then she prolly wont take u off but instead she will prolly tell u to give it another month and hopefully it will get better and she will prolly tell u to take some ibuprofin. but if u are pregnate then your doc will take u off birth control, not becuase you are pregnant and u dont need it, but that its bad for your child
