What are some good hair products for kids with curly hair?
My 5 yr old daughter has beautiful, thick curly hair. As it starts to dry it looks like corkscrews but then it starts to frizz and she gets fly away strands that make it look messy. I'm looking for a product that would give her curls some definition. Another problem is that in the back, the inner layers don't curl as much as the outer layers do. She has long hair and the weight of it makes her hair appear straight on the top of her head. She is multiracial. I have super straight hair and her dad has what his mother calls " good hair", which to me is tiny little curls that are pea sized when he trims it and i find it in the sink. I have tried black hair care products but they are too thick and heavy for her hair. Her curls are also not very uniform either. Some sections are curlier than others. When i braid her hair while it's damp and let it dry and remove the braid her hair is straight. I usually leave it loose with a leave in conditioner but it looks too wild. Any suggestions?

I've been using TCB naturals leave-in hair conditioner for myself and my kids. It smells great and you only need a little bit. Try putting a little in her hair after you towel dry it and use a wide-toothed comb. After that only touch it up on the ends each day. My kids have completely different hair types(one has very curly full hair and the other has thin straight fly-away hair) so I highly recommend using it. It comes in a jar with a green lid and you can find it at Walgreens or Meijer. Remember a little helps alot.
