When people say Lakers and Celtics are better than the Spurs, are they saying that just like the Suns fans did. As Nash said "We are better on paper, but they are better in the playoffs (focused and determined). Celtics just lack the playoff experience to beat the Spurs. Spurs have been winning Championships with the same strong three for a while now (Duncan, Ginobli, Parker). Lakers are about the only team that could beat the Spurs, but I still think they will go 7 games with the Spurs winning. Also, maybe the Pistons have a chance too against the Spurs, but that's it. With all that being said, the Spurs have a great chance of repeating. Lakers will be there only speed bump. GO SPURS GO!!!

They're Good But I seriously Doubt It Because the Lakers and Celtics are Better then San Antonio, Maybe Next Year its an Odd Numbered Year Better Chance for the Spurs.

No, the Hornets(who are really hungry and have the best point guard in the league, Chris Paul) are a real danger to the Spurs, it's going to be a great match-up!

But if they DO get past the Hornets, it's gonna be a hell of a Western Conference Finals! Lakers vs. Spurs, must-watch matchup. :)

P.S.I don't believe Utah has the power to beat LA.

I don't think they will, but they are certainly capable of doing so. I think they will win the series against the Hornets in 6 games. The series against the Lakers will be very tough, I honestly don't know who will win.

And, if they manage to make it to the Finals, they will face a Celtic or Magic team that will also be very capable of winning it all. The most interesting series will be the conference championships. Those two series will be the best series any NBA has seen in a while.

    No, they wont.

They are going to have a hell of a series with a younger, hungrier, and faster Hornets team.

Then IF they can beat the Hornets, they are gonna have an even tougher series with either the Lakers, Jazz, or (this is a stretch) Rockets. They can beat the Jazz or the Hornets, but I dont think anyone in the west is gonna take the Lakers this year.

If they get to the NBA Finals they can beat whoever they play UNLESS its the Celtics.

So I am gonna go ahead and say NO...

THE SPURTS WILL NOT REPEAT, THEY NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL.

First they have to get by some of the best teams they've ever had to face in the West. The Lakers and Hornets will be very hard to get by. And if they do get by those two teams, they've still got to beat Boston in the finals and Boston IS the best team in the NBA this year (the best team doesn't always win the finals). I say it will be very hard, but I'd much rather have SA than LA.

The trend is against them since its 2008 and they recently won championships when the year ends on an odd number.. Well there is always a first time and anything is possible, so why not? They just need to work real hard!

Unfortunately YES. They will play another efficiently boring finals and win another efficiently boring Title.. Because the Eastern Conference teams have Shown they are NOT ready for the West team.. How Detroit and Boston can look themselves in the mirror after the way they played against VASTLY inferior opponents... They dont deserve to even get to the Finals... so Yes, i think the Spurs win again, Though the Lakers give them sum heart palpatations in Western Finals.

No, I think they will fall in the Western Conference Finals in 7 games to the Lakers.

I also think the Hornets will give them trouble.

They are certainly capable of winning it all, but they have some age creeping up on them. They still play the best brand of fundamental basketball.

If they get past the Lakers, they will win the whole enchilada. I'm not a believer in the Celtics.

I guarantee you that everyone will be picking CP3 and the Hornets to win that series, just like everyone picked the Suns to win their last series....the Spurs had a bit of a down regular season, but nobody can match them during the playoffs right now...they've been there before and know what it takes to get it done...I would pick them over both the Hornets and the Lakers.
