Why would I not receive the extra $300 each per kid? They were included on my tax return....

Maybe you did, but only qualified for a $600 rebate for you and your spouse. The basic rebate depends upon your tax liability and if your income wasn't high enough to have a tax liability greater than $600, all you get is $600. Or if the children were age 17 or older as of Dec 31, 2007 you would not receive anything for them as they would have been to old.
