Noodling in Georgia?
Anyone know any good spots for noodling in GA? I live just south of Atlanta, but don't mind a drive. I have never been but am looking forward to my first noodle!

I really wouldn't know but I found this video of people noodling.

It was pretty cool.
Try asking these guys at this site for a spot, you'll have a better chance with them:

It takes a brave person to go noodling, you never know what's in the holes. Try not to end up with a nickname like " stubs' or ' niblit" during the process. Good luck with that. Have fun catchin'.

One thing that you should be aware of.... Creatures other than catfish reside in the same spots that catfish do (ie Alligator Snapping Turtles) You should not get involved with this sport unless you understand the dangers involved (ie that Snapper could bite your fingers off) Also, in your area there are quite a few poisonous snakes that reside in the water also and encountering these while swimming could be problematic and/or alarming.
