Where is a good retailer (in the UK) to buy sterling silver earrings, not too expensive?
I want to build up a collection of earrings but don't want to spend loads. I want sterling silver to start with or 9k, 14k gold/white gold to start with so my ears don't get infected. My piercings can be changed next week.

I think sterling silver is quite cheap nowadays anyway and there are a lot of boutique style one off jewellers springing up that sell some really nice jewellery. Perhaps a day out in the sunshine and a wander round the shops is in order.
I think gold is a bit less sought after than it was with the current trend in non precious jewellery and therefore cheaper too.
High street stores like Half Price Jewellers, Argos, H Samuel and the like sell the cheap stuff
There is usually some nice stuff on ebay too.
