Do you really think Randy Couture could beat Fedor Emelianinko?
I love the "Natural" but think that Fedor would beat the hell out of him. Fedor is untouchable in my opinion. Does anyone really think Randy could take him?

I think he could beat Fedor, but it would have to be a war on his part. The only way I see it happening is if Randy manages to cut Fedor to get an early stoppage, or manages to hold Fedor down on the ground and pound his way to victory. The latter I don't see really happening because bigger and stronger wrestlers have tried to hold Fedor ground and couldn't or suddenly got an armbar from hell. It isn't likely that Randy can knock Fedor out so it would go to a decision if Randy were to win.
Fedor on the other hand can knock Randy out and submit him at anytime. Randy has a chance like always. He even has a better chance than anyone else. I just think Fedor will be too much for him though.

I think it's a fight everyone wants to see. I wish Randy Couture would have stayed just to fight Big Nog. Randy really wants Fedor so I think it will happen but I'd have to pick Fedor. If Nog couldn't do it I don't think Randy could either.
Fedor vs Coleman 1 or 2. It would go the same way. I think Fedor would be even better in a cage and with elbow.

In MMA you ca never count out a top fighter, especially a guy like Captain America- Fedor is a machine and is the most well rounded HW fighter we have seen to date. I believe that Randy has his best chance in a cage (50/50 in cage IMO) and in a ring where its much smaller and there is no cage for dirty boxing I think Fedor wins by Armbar in the first round (Probably a 75/25 chance in a ring). All I know for sure is that I would like to see this fight this year for one of the New Years shows.

I tend to agree with your line of thinking. Fedor is an expert in the ground and pound, and if by some chance Randy took him down, I don't see Randy's ground and pound even being close enough to Fedor's world class grappling skills. Fedor's a tough match because he's got monster grappling with amazing ground and pound and he's ultra durable. No i don't give Randy much of a chance.

randy might rock him a little, but at the end fedor would me the last man standing. randy would do dirty boxing, so fador would be like wow, but he will regain his composer and rock randy when he trys to come in again. those wide loping punches of him do damage. Fedor Emelianinko wins end of story.

Randy has been the underdog and come through countless times. No one gave him a shot in his first fight with Belfort, his first fight with Rizzo, his first fight with Chuck, the Tito Fight, the Sylvia fight, or the Gonzaga fight... And he won all of them.
I think Fedor is the number one HW and the number 1 p4p and if I were to bet on the fight, I think Fedor will win in a one-sided battle, but that's what I thought would happen when Sylvia fought Randy and we all know how that turned out.

yes! especially if it's in a cage. fedor also cuts easily and has not been in a fight where elbows are legal? Also fedor never has fought anyone with ground and pound that good. like everyone else said -never count against randy...his chances are highly increased if its in a cage and elbows are legal.

100% yes. Randy is better when an underdog. He does better under pressure. He has the skill and experience. I predict it will go to an unaminous decision with randy winning it
