If you park on the sidewalk, and receive a parking violation, will you get a summons in the mail?
I received a ticket in Whitehall for parking in a restricted zone. Farther down on the ticket, there is a place where it it says "State Violation". Under that it says "parked on sidewalk." At the bottom, it reads "Payable only to Magistrate after receipt of summons." Will I really get a summons for parking on the sidewalk?
That's Whitehall, PA if that makes a difference. And, in my defense, it didn't even look like a sidewalk. It was the same colour as the road, and really looked like a raised up portion of the road.

Call and see if there is a fne and ask if you can come down and pay... Ask about the summons--cause this is my first ticket...
