V'ger is the creator! LOL (From Star Trek the Motion Picture)
I think the answer is that the 'creator' is used as a noun for the most part. In my case however, I would use the term more as a verb. As an action word. Although I do not think in terms of an entity that makes the action. But rather as a starting point. The original cause? That would imply some entity starting the cause. Maybe more like a point of origin that formulated from a timeless energy that is beyond the normal space time. An inevitable result of the multi-faceted
dimension. I hope I did not diverge too much from your original question. I have a difficult time imagining an entity that creates something.
Thanks for a great question

I usually use it as a noun. There was a Creator who created our souls.
BTW, The Creator is NOT the fictional biblical monster.
God is NOT a bigot.

Plural ..Genesis 1:26 and the elohim said let us make man in our image after our likeness.... this is plural it was gods that created.
Out of all these beings Yahweh was the Creator of the 'gods'.
Psalm 82:1
Yahweh rises in the divine council, gives judgment in the midst of the gods.
