1.why did you became a Vegetarian ? I saw a documentary on how animals are really treated on farms , and how they are slaughtered. It broke my heart, I love animals , so much so that i have more respect for animals , than i do for most humans. I became a vegetarian because I do not support animal cruelty.

2.do you have friends who are a Vegetarian? no

3.do you have friends that eat meat? yes, all of them do

6.are you also a Vegan? I am in the process of becoming vegan , I made an appointment with a nutritionist for 2 weeks time. I'm going to do this properly , the healthy way.

7.how do you feel when someone kills an animal in front of you? that's never happened, but I would be disgusted , and lose all respect for that person. Also upset , because I love animals. When I see things on tv where people hunt animals, and the animal cries , I end up in tears for hours. If i saw that in real life i would be devastated . Frankly, I would rather see a human die in front of me , rather than the innocent animal.

8.Anyone in your family a Vegetarian? no, just me

9.do you want your kids to be a Vegetarian? I'm never having children so that will never be an issue for me

    1. Why did you became a Vegetarian? Various reasons, not just the one.

    2. Do you have friends who are Vegetarians? Colleagues and family, but not specifically friends.

    3. Do you have friends that eat animal flesh? Plenty.

    4. Do your friends respect that you're a Vegetarian? They all do, otherwise they wouldn't stay friends for very long.

    5. Are you proud to be a Vegetarian? In a way, yes. Proud that the number of animals killed annually for food, clothing, soap and other uses, has not been significantly increased by any contribution on *my* part. Proud that my health is better than it would have been if I hadn't been a vegetarian for such a long time.

    6. Are you also a Vegan? Not yet. It's a possibility in the future though.

    7. How do you feel when someone kills an animal in front of you? Unhappy. If it was deliberately done to upset me, then doubly so.

    8. Is anyone in your family a Vegetarian? Mother, brother, sister-in-law.

    9. Do you want your kids to be Vegetarians? It would be nice, but I would settle for just having kids that respect animal life as much as they do human life.

    10. Would you eat animal flesh for 1 million dollars? No. Not even for a billion. There are several things I might do for that much money, but eating animals is certainly not one of them.

    1.why did you became a Vegetarian ?

Lots of reasons... environmental, political, personal.

2.do you have friends who are a Vegetarian?

    Not many, but a few.

3.do you have friends that eat meat?

Yes, they outnumber the ones that are vegetarian, but it's not a conflict or problem in any way.

4.does your friend respect you that your a Vegetarian?

The basis of friendship is respect for one another, they wouldn't be my friend if they could not accept such a basic part of who I am. =) So yes, the friends I have all accept it.

5.are you proud to be a Vegetarians?

    Yes.

    6.are you also a Vegan?

    Yes.

7.how do you feel when someone kills an animal in front of you?

I haven't seen that in a long time, but I have seen pigs and chickens get slaughtered, and I never liked looking at it. So I'd say I probably feel much the same now as I did then.

8.Anyone in your family a Vegetarian?

A random distant cousin and one of my uncles as far as I know, but I have family scattered across 3 different continents so there's parts of my family I've never even met.

9.do you want your kids to be a Vegetarian?

Yes, or at least limit their meat consumption, but I don't think that would be a problem, even the people in my family that aren't vegetarian try to eat as little meat as possible because it's expensive and because it's really improved their health. This might be the first generation of my family that doesn't die of heart disease - I can't even count on one hand anyone in my family that died of any other reason but heart attack, diabetes or complications from obesity. As long as my daughter at least eats a somewhat healthy diet, even if she decides to have meat be a part of it, that's all I could ask for. Just like I wish she would never drink alcohol, but realistically I know that everyone will eventually try and experiment with whatever their parents teach them not to do. But in the end hopefully I'll raise my kids right and my daughter will make healthy choices as an adult.

10.would you eat meat for 1 million dollars?

Yes I'd probably eat a piece of meat for a million dollars, and I wouldn't keep a dime of it, I'd donate the whole thing to a local children's hospital and other organizations I appreciate. It won't kill me to have a bite and it could help a dozen families pay off their children's hospital bills.
