Home resale?
I am going to buy my first home soon (hopefully). I have an appointment to view a home tomorrow. I love it from the outside and it is in a VERY nice neighborhood. It is one of the smallest in the sub which is why I can afford it (the next cheapest home for sale is over 50K more- most are in the $230K range). I should mention that I am in the Charlotte NC metro region, where homes are typically appreciating and selling.
However, I have some concerns. The home is listed for just under 140K and through a company that sells MLSs-no realtor. I have not gotten a realtor yet- I was going to call Monday. However, I can save several thousand if I buy with out a realtor. My concern is that the home is about 1000sf and 3 bedrooms. I will be living alone, but I think a 1000sf 3brdm is cramped looking. I am worried about the ability to resell it. Is reselling homes this small a difficult thing? Or am I worried about nothing?

I think you have a good reason to worry, as we are headed into a deep recession and it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. I don't think it will be long before it will be a buyers market, so if I was you I would just wait and find a house that I was really happy with before I buy. I don't think a three bedroom house is that small, but I am not the one buying it and you just don't seam that happy about it, so my advise would be to wait.
Good luck
