Why do the answers get jumbled after you vote for them?
I'm wondering why the order of the answers to a question changes after I vote for an answer. I can't figure out what order the new order is. It's sorted by number of votes, or by the date/time of entry. Does anyone know what order the questions get sorted in after you vote?
Typo above -- what I means to say is that they are NOT sorted by number of votes or by date/time of entry, which would make some sense. They seem to be random, which is confusing.
No, my point is that the answers are not sorted by date/time of entry. They are random, and the order only changes AFTER people vote. It would make sense to jumble them before, so the first answer wouldn't get priority, but the order seems to change after, which doesn't make sense..

Yahoo Answers did that simply because the first answer almost always got chosen as the best, even though many times there were more useful answers to the question than the 1st one. This way, a person who answered first will have the same chance of being chosen as the best as a person who answered 20th. This way, an answer's usefulness determines which is the best and not whether or not it was the first answer.

They are in the order in which they were answered. As simple as that.
