A hen will lay her eggs every 2 days, she could have a clutch any where from 1 egg to 6 - 9.

    Hi,

She will lay an average between 2-6 eggs. She will lay every other day. Make sure she has cuttlefish bone. I put a bit in the nestbox and outside in the cage or near the nestbox for the male to eat.

The eggs will hatch 18 days when she starts sitting.

7 days for eyes to open.

5 weeks fledging (coming out of the nest)

5-6 weeks to start to eating seeds.

One of my budgies called Minty laid 13 eggs in one clutch and 11hatched and she and her mate Chive looked after them all and they all survived I sold 8 and kept 3, they are called sage, parsley and basil.

She's having a long break now.

They normally lay more than one. It's usually every other day until they have anywhere from 4-8 in general. It's dependent on a couple things, but that's the basics.
