do people grind at high school dances?

That's funny that you asked that because I just had my second senior prom on Friday... and my first last weekend. Well I've been to four homecomings and two proms in Texas and Georgia. Both schools that i attended were very strict about PDA and dress code, but dancing was another thing. I don't know of anyone who got in the slightest trouble for even the most provocative dancing. I have even seen people blatantly grinding and making out on the dance floor. So to answer your question, most likely your school could not care less about the dancing at dances as long as you stay for the most part clothed.

Yes they do grind at public high schools. It depends on what school you go to but generally the adults don't do anything which is surprising. Most of the time the freshmen are the only ones not grinding, its really easy though don't over think it just start swaying your hips back and forth to the beat the guy will probably lead anyway. Theres usually no discretion between private and public i find.

if your worried about getting in trouble dance in the middle or front, the sides are where the teachers lurk and pounce!.

grinding is so hot, and how else would u dance with someone to a not-slow song?

there are two ways.

one with the guy and girl facing the sameway, the guy usually wraps his hand around you in the stomach area... or lower *wink wink and the girl etheir puts her hands on his. .. fondle his face or i tihnk its hot when they dance with freinds in front of them still with their hands raised etc. and just move together with the music!

the other way is way more intense, usualyl a couple switches to this from the above position. the face each other with their feet staggered so the girl will have one leg between the guys leg and one on the outside. the guys hands both go under the girls ... in the butt/lower back area and the girls over/around his shoulders. This is perfect if u wanna make out and best for talking ... again just move with the music

dont feel shy to take control... if one of the couple is moving to fast or to slow for the beat of the song just slow it or speed it up... in the end it will look better

Grinding is basically dancing and rubbing very intimately with your dance partner. If you want to advertise yourself at such a young age, then I expect you will also be grinding at the dances. Some have more chaperones paying attention to keep inappropriate conduct from happening.

yes probably depends on the people who go to school there. In some circles its more acceptable than in others. It's certainly not something that you have to take part in. there are plenty of other people who choose not to "grind" at dances.

Yeah. Our teachers don't really care to much. I actually saw a teacher singing to Get Low. I'm the DJ for the dances. I can't tell you how to grind, because I don't dance..that's why I'm the DJ haha.

yes they do grind dance at highschool dances, usually they are more worried about people being drunk then they are about the type of dancing that the kids are doing... it's really pretty easy... (just watch for the first dance and then give it a try)

yell ya people grind at high school dances ...if you were to go to one of my high school dances then you would be surprised ......even my principle dances..its so nasty because she gets low even when she has a dress on or something.....and if you really want to know how to grind watch MTV music videos lmas...good luck

It's nothing fancy its just rubbing up against them when you dance...but if you get stupid with it the teacher/chaperone doen't want to see it and will probably have the DJ put a fast song on,turn up the lights,or tell you to act like adults not animals

Ppl do grind at high school dances BUT administration will tell you to stop....
