Yes! go to www.petfinder.com and you type in your zip code and then you can get a bunch of dogs in nearby shelters in PA or even your town. you type in the breed, size and age and it will find a lot of shelter dogs that would have otherwise been killed.

Yes. Look through shelters for 'Shetland Sheepdogs' or 'Shelties'. Search PetFinder for them and above all continue looking through rescues, shelters and such until you find one.
